Google Xistence Lives Life For You

There's been such a hype around the ever-so-popular social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Blogger and the like. We all seem to live more complex lives online than in real life. Really, that just sounds wrong. There are so many distractions online: updating your status on Facebook and looking through people's photos just because they're there, tweeting about your mediocre lunch at the cafeteria or clicking on all the links your followees post, going on MySpace to look at random music bands, going on Blogger to share something terribly exciting about life, possibly chatting on Skype and MSN in the mean time, checking all your e-mail accounts, going on LinkedIn for a professional update, and then of course looking through a whole lotta websites, just because they're endlessssss! Whew, well, that sounds like more work than going out for a pint with friends! And yet we seem determined to keep our 'online selves' alive and kicking, in on all the latest trending topics, gossip, and other possibly pointless information we absorb for hours in front of the monitor. It's an addiction and it's so hard to control, especially when you have 'nothing better to do in real life'. Oh, that's so sad and wrong, but I feel like a hypocrite saying that simply because I am one of those utter digital addicts. For one, it's cheaper to live online than offline ;) Either way, it's a twisted reality, this online world. Ironic, isn't it, that the more you use social media, the more antisocial you might become, in real life.

So here's a clever idea. Why not let Google live your online life for you? :) If only that application were real, it would save so much of your time, wasted in meaningless status updates that few people actually care about... And you know, instead of staring at a monitor 24/7, you can go out, meet friends, explore the world! (or, fine, play hours of WOW if you're THAT type of antisocial gaming person)

Let Google Xistence live for you online, so that you can enjoy REAL LIFE!!!

Someone please develop that app, I'll be one of the first customers! :)
