WHAT

Good Ideas Salons are where forward-thinkers come together to share ideas to make things better, whether that’s better work, better play or a better world.

Based on the success of its Good Ideas Salon series in New York, the team at trends and innovation company PSFK has invited motivated individuals to produce their own salons—harnessing the talent and creativity from within their own communities.

Once a month, Good Ideas Salons from Jakarta to Toronto to Hamburg connect local innovators and experts to discuss far-reaching themes like collaboration, mobile, design, and more. Videos of the salons are then uploaded and shared on the Good Ideas Salons website, transforming these local perspectives into a global vision.

WHY

Because innovation doesn’t occur in a bubble—it occurs locally and globally, offline as well as on. Good Ideas Salons bring local innovators face-to-face to define and refine their ideas. Videos taken from the salons deliver those ideas to the world.

WHO

Drawing from a range of industries, Good Ideas Salons bring together people with a focus on lateral thinking, the desire to showcase their knowledge, and the wish to renew existing relationships with likeminded peers as well as forge new ones.

WHERE

Because good ideas are not bound by geography, neither are Good Ideas Salons. They are held in cities around the world, big and small. Potential venues include cafés, bars, offices, studios, theaters, universities, community centers and rented event spaces.

WHEN

The 3rd Tuesday of every month.
